Campaigning - latest update from Eastern Region 24.05.17

National campaigning remains suspended in light of the horrific events of Monday night.
Local campaigning can resume, at the discretion of local parties, but in light of the raised threat level it is the view of the Party that any activity should be low-key and sensitively handled. This means that individual campaigns should not be using social media, shouldn’t be taking part in hustings events, fundraising or street stalls, and shouldn’t undertake phone canvassing or doorstep Voter ID.
Those wishing to participate in leaflet delivery or campaign organisational tasks can do so.
This will be reviewed later today.
