Charmain Woollard

I have now completed my first year as a Norwich City Councillor for the Mile Cross Ward , and I am pleased to welcome two new Labour Councillors to work with me to effect positive progress in our community.

Since my election I have undertook considerable further training to equip me to become an effective City Councillor. The most important thing for me is representing my Community to the very best of my ability. Mile Cross is a very special place to live, and it remains a true honour to serve its people

We hope to organise regular Community Surgeries so that the people of Mile Cross can have there say as to the local priorities and concerns that should be addressed

I feel that my first year has been productive and I am certain that I have helped in many ways to bring about changes for the good and that I can do even more in the coming years even with the constraints that are being imposed by our new government.

I have grave concerns that the situation we find ourselves in are not going to improve in the foreseeable future but we will do our very best on behalf of Mile Cross and Our Fine City.
