Julie Brociek-Coulton

I am proud to serve the community of Sewell Ward as both the City and County Councillor for the area. I became heavily involved in community politics and action before becoming first elected in 2004. Helping to set up the Toy Library, Starting my own Rainbow Pack, Secretary of Sewell Community Group and helping to win Silver and Gold awards for Norwich with Norwich in Bloom for the past eight years,  and also getting the Silver Rooms made into an community asset, after working 4.5 years alongside other residents in my ward.  Being involved with improving my residents environment by delivering alley gates, traffic calming and investment into public services too.  Working with local schools with projects like Greener Growth and encouraging the children to grow their own vegetables, plant their own fruit orchard and design their own sensory garden are just some to the wonderful achievements that Sewell has managed over the past few years.  I look forward to seeing the Silver Road Community Centre (Silver Rooms) go from strength to strength giving our residents in Sewell what they deserve.  A community hub and lifeline in the Community.
