NORWICH LABOUR PARTY ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING FRIDAY 13 JULY 7.30PM

The 2018 Annual General Meeting will be held at Wensum Junior School, Turner Rd, Norwich NR2 4HB, on Friday 13th July at 7:30 pm. This meeting is open to all Norwich Labour Party members. Please arrive from 7.00pm as you will need to sign in.

 

You must show your Party Membership card or photo ID in order to take part in any ballots.

At this meeting we will be electing

  • The new Executive Committee for Norwich Labour Party (see details below)
  • Two members to the Norfolk Local Campaign Forum, from each of Norwich North and Norwich South, plus reserves
  • Four members to the Broadland Local Campaign Forum (one delegate from each of Hellesdon, Old Catton & Sprowston, and Thorpe St. Andrew, with the fourth and the reserve to be from any of these branches).

We will also be approving the Norwich Labour Party Annual Accounts for 2017.

The new elected Executive Committee will consist of six Officers and six Coordinators, all of whom will be self-nominated. Positions are open to any member of Norwich Labour Party, deadline for nominations was 5pm on Saturday 30th June.

Nominations have been received as follows:

  • President – Mike Stonard
  • Vice President (Fundraising) – two candidates – Erin Fulton-McAlister, Allyssa Macintyre
  • Vice President (Membership) – Natasha Harpley
  • Treasurer – Nick Williams
  • Secretary – Rosemary Duff
  • Women’s Officer – Jo Smith
  • Trades Union Coordinator – Chrissie Rumsby
  • Equalities Coordinator – Ashley Bowhill
  • Political Education Coordinator – Vivienne Bolton
  • Youth Coordinator – two candidates – Ben Hardie, AnnieHatley
  • Capacity Coordinator – Matthew Fulton
  • Campaigns Coordinator – Adam Giles
  • There is also a Co-operative Party representative who is elected by the Co-operative Party (Chris Herries)
  • An Assistant-Secretary is also to be appointed, but will not sit on the Executive Committee – no applications received
