I joined Labour in 2010 because I care deeply about the community I live and raise my family in. I work as a lawyer, so issues of justice are ones I am passionate about. Norwich has seen the policies of this Tory/LibDem coalition cause social injustices only Labour can reddress. I stood for election in 2012 because I wanted to play a part in that. Lakenham Ward, where I live, is a great part of the city but like others has been unable to escape the damage and disruption caused by cuts to welfare and local government budgets. Working with my colleagues Keith Driver, Chris Herries and Sue Whitaker, we take a team approach to supporting our residents and the wider community and to ensuring people in Lakenham are as best protected as possible.
