Support our campaign to keep our pensions safe
Almost 21,000 people in Norwich will lose out by £10,000 each under Government plans to bring forward changes to the state pension age.
The change will affect all men and women currently between the age of 39 and 47, who will be forced to work a year longer before they can get their pension. Labour will leave the state pension age at 66.
Labour is demanding that the Tories abandon this disgraceful and unjustified attack on the state pension. The Tories are asking thousands of people in Norwich to work longer to pay for their failing economic plans at the same time as they are handing an £80 billion yearly tax giveaway to the largest corporations and the very wealthy.
