SCRAP THE CAP rally in Lowestoft - Saturday 23 September

‘After the years of austerity all public sector workers deserve a proper pay rise’

Saturday 23 September
Assemble for 12 noon
United Reformed Church, (top of precinct, next to The Volunteer), London Road North, Lowestoft

Work has been going ahead on the ‘Scrap the Cap’ rally and demonstration - this Saturday 23 September in Lowestoft.

It’s a co-operative event with trade unions, the anti-austerity political parties as well as Lowestoft Coalition Against the Cuts and
Waveney TUC involved and there will be a good selection of speakers as well as live music and, we hope, a choir involved.

The Tories are in disarray and fighting amongst themselves not only about Brexit but about their programme of continuing cuts. Tory MPs fear for their jobs. Their attempt to buy off some of the unions has failed. Paying for some workers to have a, still below inflation, pay rise by cutting jobs and services has angered many, not fooled them.

What you can do:
- Attend the rally! Bring placards and banners if you have them. Make a noise and make your voice heard.
- Forward the attached poster to anybody and everybody
- Post the attachment onto Facebook

See you on Saturday!
