100 days to go! Important local elections this May

On Thursday 4th May, residents in the Norwich City Council and Broadland District Council areas will have the opportunity to vote for who they want their local councillors to be.

Returning Labour councillors across our city, and country, will send a message to Tories that we’ve had enough. We need strong Labour representation at all levels: to mitigate the damage done by this reckless government and to stand up for everyone in our communities.
This May, for the first time, voters will require photo ID to vote at a polling station. If you don’t have any photo ID, you can apply for a free Voter Authentication Certificate online: www.electoralcommission.org.uk/i-am-a/voter/voter-id/applying-a-voter-authority-certificate
Alternatively, you do not have to show voter ID if you vote by post. Any voter is eligible for a postal vote. Your ballot will arrive a couple of weeks before polling day, meaning you have plenty of time to return it and make sure you have your say. Apply now: www.postalvote.labour.org.uk
Can you help us campaign?
Whether you are willing to knock on doors, deliver leaflets, help in the office, display a poster/garden stake or something else entirely – let us know: www.norwichlabour.org.uk/volunteer
