Thank you to everyone who supported Labour in Thursday’s local elections!
We are really pleased that:
- Labour remains the biggest Party on Norwich City Council
- Labour made gains in Town Close and Lakenham
- Labour held seats in University, Crome, Catton Grove and Bowthorpe
- Sarah Taylor was elected as Norfolk’s first-ever Labour Police and Crime Commission
We would also like to give a huge thank you to all the Labour candidates, councillors and members who worked so hard towards these results.
The next General Election is no more than a few months away, so we’ll be back out across the city campaigning to get Alice Macdonald, Clive Lewis MP and a Labour government elected. If you want to take part and help deliver real change, join us today: https://jdr.labour.org.uk/join-journey
