Last night, Norwich City Council’s seven-strong Labour cabinet agreed to proceed with an arrangement that will see local charities occupy Carrow House.
A three year-lease was approved, which will provide Norwich Unity Hub member charities with affordable space to work from. It is hoped this arrangement will foster collaboration and support the vital work these organisastions carry out.
Cllr Mike Stonard, Leader of the council, says: “Our officers have done an amazing job to help turn this into reality. It’s a shining example of the work that local councils can do to positively influence things that really matter to people across our communities.”
