Martin lives in Woodhill Rise, in the Marlpit, with his wife Jayne and works as a head cook in an older people’s care home in the city. During the recent Covid-19 pandemic, like many in our community, he was infected with the virus but has made a good recovery. After serving in the Merchant Navy he returned to Norwich and is heavily involved in the community and his trade union, UNISON. Passionate about social housing, he is proud to have helped secure dozens of new council homes for our community for local people.
